Founded in 2002, Tanner Pharma Group (TPG) is a specialty service provider in the biopharmaceutical industry focused on improving patient access to medicines on a global basis. Tanner Pharma offers its biopharmaceutical partners a portfolio of four distinct service offerings that span the product lifecycle from clinical development to commercialization. Each of its service offerings has a component of the distribution of pharmaceutical and related products according to Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Tanner Pharma has distribution licenses in the US, UK, Switzerland, and Ireland, but the business operates across more than 120 countries. The company is currently in a phase of rapid growth and to support this growth, is seeking a Global Service Delivery Manager to support the Managed Access Program division, TannerMAP, in managing the launch, service delivery and implementation of various access programs. The position reports to TannerMAP’s Senior Director Global Service Delivery.

Role Description
TannerMAP works with pharmaceutical companies to develop and deliver access programs enabling patients with unmet medical needs access to medicines in countries where those medicines are not commercially accessible. These access programs may be referred to as Named Patient, Expanded Access, Early Access, or Compassionate Use Programs. Medicines in the programs may be provided at a cost or free of charge. Laying the foundation for the launch of TannerMAP was the implementation of a series of innovative programs supplying donated medicines to 30,000+ cancer patients in nearly 80 low-and middle-income countries. With a solid foundation established to support future growth, TannerMAP has rapidly expanded its portfolio of programs supporting both big pharma and many small- to mid-size specialty and rare disease companies. To help drive and support this growth, TannerMAP is seeking a Global Service Delivery Manager.

Role Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the service delivery of Tanner Pharma’s managed access programs and the management of its partner network supporting in program delivery:

  • Support Program Managers with program setup, implementation, and execution for markets in scope
  • Ensure that the key service level objectives are delivered according to program requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with TannerMAP strategic partners
  • Negotiate project specific terms and conditions with partner network
  • Support in the development of downstream strategies for commercial proposals
  • Support in the design and development of innovative service implementation and market-by-market strategies
  • Educate on program regulatory requirements for countries in scope
  • Troubleshoot and firefight

Desired Candidate Profile & Capabilities

  • BS or Master’s degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting, preferably in a Customer Service, Alliance Management, Commercial Supply Chain or Market Access role.
  • Previous experience in the execution of managed access programs or distribution of unlicensed medicines preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in customer relationship building with a strong emphasis on long-term partnerships
  • Solution-oriented and strong ability to solve problems
  • Understanding of EU Good Distribution Practice
  • Knowledge and interest in oncology or rare diseases
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and ability to recognize when something needs to be done and without needing to be told what to do
  • Comfort and experience working in a high-paced and high-workload environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders internally with Tanner and externally with clients
  • High attention to detail and a high standard for quality work products
  • Highly organized and adept at multi-tasking with a solid track-record of following through on commitments
  • Demonstrated history of establishing and delivering high levels of customer service
  • Comfort working in a situation where there is an uncharted path forward
  • Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong command of the English language including concise and clear written grammar
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 25%

Pay: £40,000.00 – £50,000.00 per year
