A Rare Affair 2024  

The rare disease community is a diverse and resilient group of people who face many challenges in their quest for better health and quality of life. They are not alone in this journey, as they are supported by dedicated and passionate organizations that work tirelessly to develop and deliver innovative therapies for rare genetic diseases. 

One of these organizations is Ultragenyx, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of novel products for the treatment of rare and ultra-rare diseases.  

To increase awareness in the rare disease space, Ultragenyx is hosting A Rare Affair 2024, an event that will take place during the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference on January 7th. The event will feature unique wines and food as well as an opportunity for networking, all with the goal of raising awareness and funds for the development of rare disease treatments. 100% of the ticket proceeds will go to the Wilson Disease Foundation (WDA), a patient advocacy group that works to improve the lives of people with Wilson disease, a rare genetic disorder that causes copper to accumulate in the body.
