Business Development Associate US

The BD Associate role is to effectively enroll new partner accounts, build strong relationships that will generate growth and repeat orders and provide support to the Business Development team that exemplifies the Tanner Pharma Group Core Values. Success in this role is meeting Business Development team goals and increasing the number of new highly profitable customers. Responsible for building relationships that will grow our strong customer base.
Role Accountabilities
Expected Responsibilities for the Business Development Associate are:
- Research other markets to uncover Leads.
- Expand Potential partner database by growing and leveraging your network.
- Evaluate Leads to determine fit and potential as a TannerGAP high tier partner while identifying potential and initiate connection to other divisions as applicable.
- Evaluate Leads from resources available e.g. Trade Data and CreditSafe
- Present the company and explain our services
- Build rapport with Leads and Prospects to identify decision makers and reveal key information to develop the account and our understanding of level of partnership.
- Handle some customers that are not ready to transition to the commercial team
- Successfully transfer and share knowledge acquired on an account to the commercial team
- Effectively follow- up with Prospects and Partners to obtain quote feedback and increase quote-to-invoice ratio.
- Maximize on opportunities for sales while is being the primary point of contact on a given account.
- Overcome objections of direct and indirect potential clients by clarifying processes, emphasizing service, and presenting solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between all departments (International Sales, Procurement, Shipping and Receiving, and BD) to explore and implement client specific processes that increase their retention and long-term value to our services.
- Find new territories and design new strategies to work with prospect
- Continuously look to improve BD opportunities, and not be limited to the current norm e.g. LEAP and TannerGMS.
- Provide partners with proactive communication and excellent customer service to build and maintain successful relationships.
- Complete all activities from request to quote through shipment of the order to effectively manage the partner accounts.
- Set up accounts In NetSuite and upload relevant documents into TannerGAP BD document center
- Actively communicating with Order Management Executive (OME) to ensure a smooth handling of all orders
- Effectively utilize resources available
- Provide support to the Senior BD Associates with quote, research and detail analysis
- Creation of adhoc reporting for the BD team
- Perform other assigned tasks
Desired Candidate Profile & Capabilities
Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment
- Demonstrated aptitude to take initiative, set goals and make a plan for reaching them
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word subject to testing

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary commensurate with experience, Pay: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
