The company is currently in a phase of rapid growth and to support this growth, is seeking a Business Partner to support the Managed Access Program division, TannerMAP, in driving program implementation, generating new business, and managing day-to-day operations of the division. The position reports to the Executive Vice President TannerMAP. TannerMAP works with pharmaceutical companies to develop and deliver access programs enabling patients with unmet medical needs access to medicines in countries (including the United States) where those medicines are not commercially available. These access programs may be referred to as Named Patient, Expanded Access, Early Access, or Compassionate Use Programs. Medicines in the programs may be provided at a cost or free of charge. Laying the foundation for the launch of TannerMAP was the implementation of a series of innovative programs supplying donated medicines to 30,000+ cancer patients in nearly 80 low- and middle-income countries. With a solid foundation established to support future growth, TannerMAP has been rapidly expanding its portfolio of programs supporting both big pharma and small- to mid-size specialty and rare disease companies.

Role Accountabilities

Expected Responsibilities for the Business Partner role are:

  • Assist the EVP of TannerMAP with the monthly financial close process.
  • Support program teams with monthly invoicing.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Help prepare materials for periodic executive team meetings.
  • Support the EVP of TannerMAP with unique projects and insightful analyses.
  • Coordinate with the program teams on periodic reporting activities for sponsor-facing updates.
  • Support the program team with maintaining and enhancing project management tools such as patient trackers, Gantt charts, and NetSuite reports to facilitate real time visibility and assist in informed decision making.
  • Manage case report form (CRF) collection and data quality checks; collaborate with Data Program Managers to ensure accurate reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile & Capabilities

Required:

  • Degree in finance, engineering, supply chain, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, preferably in finance or consulting in the life sciences industry; prior supply chain and/or accounting experience a plus.
  • Experience with NetSuite, including generating reports, managing financial data, and supporting project tracking workflows. Familiarity with customizing dashboards and integrating NetSuite with other project management tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills including financial modeling in Excel with experience in Power BI preferred.
  • Experience working with large data sets, interrogating data, and translating into business insights.
  • Robust experience developing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ambition and drive for an accelerated career path in a high-paced and high-workload environment.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and ability to recognize when something needs to be done.
  • Confidence to take on new responsibilities and activities and make mistakes along the way.
